Stories shape our imaginations and the pinnacle of storytelling is in Hollywood. Our vision was to bring together the talent and legacy of the @academymuseum with the minds & ideas of @berggrueninst – and what a union it was.
Our first event brought together two ICONS – Jane Fonda and Naomi Oreskes for a conversation on climate science, the powerful forces working to undermine it, and how we can build a sustainable future. Jane has long called out the fossil fuel industry for lying about their impact on the environment. And Naomi’s work proves it.
I cannot think of a more formidable pair than these two women. The conversation was provocative, eye opening, and hilarious. I am beyond grateful and forever inspired.
