Nicole Faulkner Instagram – Just posted my Glute Day workout! 🍑💪🏼 This before picture has been sitting in my phone for two years and I never thought I’d have the courage to post it, but I am so proud of myself and my gains I had to share because I know how inspiring and impactful these types of images are and I wanna always keep it real with you guys! 🥹 **Story time** When I was at my heaviest, 300 lbs., I thought I could never step foot in a gym, let alone a nice private gym like @mackfittraininggym. Even though Mack was my boy I was so intimidated! He would tell me to come in and that I was going to love it but I couldn’t build up the courage to go because I felt so out of shape and like I wouldn’t fit in or people would be looking at me, until one day I was like, fuck it. 😂 if I was gonna learn equipment and technique/form, etc. I’d rather be in a space where I know someone. I know training at a private gym is a luxury and not everyone can do it but if you do have the means and can budget your finances, skip a night or two out a month to go to a private gym, I am telling you you will not regret it! It’s helped my confidence so much and my anxiety around working out in public in general. Even if you’re at a public gym, don’t be afraid to ask for help from the trainers. That’s what they’re there for! I think fear of looking dumb or that shame around being a big person in a gym can sometimes numb us from taking action. Only advice I can give is, DO IT! Take care of your body, you only get one. Move, walk, run, whatever you wanna do, just MOVE! I love sharing my journey with you guys you keep me so motivated, thank you for all the support always and it really helps to keep me on track when I get to share my progress with you!
