Home Actress Padma Lakshmi HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers April 2024 Padma Lakshmi Instagram - These days I rarely feel the pain from endometriosis that I felt monthly from the age of 13 to 36, and I wish the same relief for all who are suffering from it. No one should be held back from reaching their full potential by chronic pain. Endometriosis isn’t a woman’s disease. It’s a family disease. Dr Tamer Seckin and I started the Endometriosis Foundation of America in 2009. It’s now been fifteen years of research, awareness and progress with @EndoFound, here are just a few of the things we have accomplished: EndoFound awarded nearly $1.5 million in research grants to over 30 leading research institutions. These grants contribute to groundbreaking studies and advancements in endometriosis research, bringing us one step closer to improved treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Championed the groundbreaking passage of the inaugural state law in New York, marking it as the trailblazer nationwide in ensuring materials on menstrual health and endometriosis are available in schools. Currently leading initiatives to extend this legislation to eight additional states. Actively supported the establishment and ongoing initiatives of the House Endometriosis Caucus, contributing to advocacy efforts for increased awareness and understanding of endometriosis in legislative circles. Launched the Gynepathology Lab at MIT through a strategic partnership. I am deeply indebted to all of our volunteers, donors, staff and Board for all you’ve allowed us to accomplish!! But there is more to be done! Join our $15 for 15 campaign (at the link in bio) and help shape the future of endometriosis care, research, and education. 📸 by @priscillabenedetti in Favignana, Sicily
