Perri Lauren Instagram – Shabbat Shalom!!!! For my Jewish friends, I invite you to light Shabbos candles tonight.
Feel the light. Be the light. 🙂
Even if you have never done it before…today is the best time to start. No day but today! It just may bring a smile to your face.
Go out, buy some candles, maybe even some candlesticks. Pick up some delicious challah and grape juice or your favorite wine and whoever you are with tonight, (I’ll be with @basichalfwhitegirl !!!) Feel what it is like to go through the process of getting ready and prepped for Shabbos and then tonight, at 6:46 pm…start Shabbat! Why not!
Ill leave the Shabbos, wine and challah prayers is my stories.
Then try to put down your phone and turn your eyes up at what’s around you..right here, right now…or think about where you WANT to be and put yourself there. Focus on the present moment and try to keep your thoughts in the now.
