Pilar Holland Instagram – Yesterday we laid my beloved Grandma Rita to rest. She was like a second mom to me. She picked my brother and I up from school, watched and fed us in the evenings and on some weekends when my mother was either working or furthering her career with classes, and she was the one who drove me to LA for my first auditions and my first commercial booking when I decided to follow my dream to be an actor.
Thank you, grandma, for everything you did for me growing up. I love you very much. You will forever be in my heart. ā¤ļø
I recently attended an Allison Russel concert and one of the band members, whom also had recently lost a grandmother, said something really beautiful that stuck with me. She said, āMy relationship isnāt ending with my grandmother. Iām just creating a new one with her.ā
