Years ago, I performed at Yoshi’s in Oakland, California. I remember that my manager at the time was worried about how many people would show up to the performance. It ended up exceeding our expectations. Wipe the brow!
We had a great time, and I had a great band backing me up. Shout out to all the exceptional musicians in this video. #WE ~ And, shout out to everyone in the audience who made it a night to remember.
Whitney Houston had just passed, and she was my childhood music hero. I wanted to do something to acknowledge her presence on earth and the huge impact she had on me as an artist.
