Rosamund Pike Instagram – 2 weeks since the @bafta film awards in London. I flew from Cape Town where I am working, and slipped back into London life for 2 days; or at least a fantasy version of London life where I dressed in Dior, and got ready at the Ritz, and borrowed playfully exquisite jewellery from Boucheron … a fantasy life, which is not mine, and which will always have its Cinderella moment when the coach turns back into a pumpkin. But that is part of the story. Magical, because when you’re back in a hoodie queuing for an 11 hour Monday night flight from Heathrow, you wonder if any of it was real. These photographs, shot by Simon Emmett, are from while the magic lasted! Look at the Boucheron bow inspiring the bow in my hair; and the way this dress moves!! A liquid silk that flows so beautifully, and a colour that seems to glow. A dress to lose in! And get got lost in.
