Sarah Alami Instagram – Despite all of our efforts the amount of death and hypocrisy against the #Palestinian people are mounting. I’m heartbroken. Oh how it feels to know that the culture you are so proud of that is so beautiful and rich in history is being erased in front of your eyes. That your family is in danger bc of their identity and the world watches. They come up with reasons to excuse it bc they don’t want to believe a people who had faced a horrifying genocide could not possibly do the same thing to another people. Despite seeing it unfold in front of your eyes. You turn your eyes away, you stay silent and pretend it’s not happening. How would you feel if it were you? How would you feel if it were your family? Prioritizing one people over another, it’s egregious. I’m empty. We are fighting so hard. No one hears us.
