I had the great privilege of working with Larry moss on a play he directed and I co-produced through my theatre company back in 2014. Shadowing him daily for months taught me so much about directing and working with actors, and performance in general. How to tell great stories, whether on the stage or on film, through richly detailed and specific character choices. It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade already, but I’m so grateful for the friendship that was built through this collaboration. “Read 3 plays a week, for a year.” I’ve heard him say this on many occasions, and he lives by it.
