Love is the answer, yet it’s so damn scary.
After I gave some of the deepest parts of myself to the wrong person, it locked up the parts of me that I actually flourish in the most.
I’m a lover, a nurturer, I protect, profess, and encourage, I’m loyal, not to mention witty AF lol
I hate that someone who didn’t even deserve that depth from me, caused me to be unable to feel safe sharing that side of me with anyone else ever again.
How ever not any more.
Vulnerability is Courageous, and my old fears will never outweigh my fortitude.
I’m shedding my armor so the weight on my shoulders can be lighter, and my spirit can shine far brighter.

This break that happened to my leg is a pretty rare and serious break, also considered a “career ender” for athletes.
I always do my best to take things head on, but when I sit here and think that the average person takes 3 months to be able to properly walk again from this break my mind is blown.
I’m so grateful for the support and love that I have, that I’m still able to have so many great reasons to laugh and smile.
I don’t know what my lesson here is, but I know with every triumph there is an even greater testimony 💗
