Stephanie Simbari Instagram – Trusting the process of my baby’s arrival has tested my patience and ability to surrender on every level: mentally, physically, spiritually. I’ve tried every natural induction method and I feel like he’s laughing at me every time I attempt to control the timing. Watching me drink castor oil and make myself violently ill, crunching astro math like a deranged scientist, and calling my midwife every time I have a contraction. I’ve been brought to my knees feeling like I’m dying ten times over, crying out to spirit to make it make sense. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for my love @ty_unity for holding me in this space and witnessing me feeling it all, shedding layers of self in order to step into this emerging new life. I’m blessed to have friends showing up near and far taking care of me in the form of food, foot rubs, laughs, calls texts, and shepherding me to this edge when I feel like I can’t possibly take another step. Learning to deeply know he’s on his on time with his own plan and trusting that we are being guided and protected is a moment to moment experience that I’m still very much inside of.
