Cedar Wright Instagram – Attention Dirtbags! I am excited to announce that applications for the second round of The Dirt Bag Fund are officially open! Thanks to some generous donations the fund has doubled this year and I will be giving 10k in 1-2k grants to climbers who are contributing to the culture and community of climbing all while scrapping by on next to nothing! The link to the application is in my bio and at my website where there is also a link to donate if you feel like this is something you’d like to support! cedarwright.com Last year’s recipients had big adventures and made meaningful contributions in our weird little world of rock climbing. I even paid for a full dirtbag choss climber to have surgery on their ruptured sphincter after a nasty fall, so the Dirtbag Fund is off to a legendary start!! 😜I also worked with several creative filmmaker 🎥 dirtbags to hone short films about their adventures, a fun way for me to be hands on and put a few bucks in the pockets of creatives…and to spread the word about the fund! HINT: for this year’s applicants I will be looking for people with specific missions, whether it is a climbing objective dream project, a community service mission, or just a good story you’d like to bootstrap and share through my channels to spread the dirtbag stoke! Of course there are no hard set rules to dirtbagging and so I’m open to any and all dirtbags as long as you are legitimately living hand to mouth. This is all a work in progress and I’m hoping to grow the reach and mission of The Dirtbag Fund over time!!
