Chris Harrison Instagram – A big announcement: Experience Camps is coming to TEXAS ❤️ We hosted a beautiful night of tears, laughs and love at our home to announce this news and raise money to get the camp location up and running here in 2026! 🧡💙 If you’re new to @experiencecamps, it’s a nonprofit that runs summer camps for grieving children – kids who have lost a parent, primary caregiver or sibling. Lauren’s father died suddenly when she was in college, and to volunteer at and support #ExperienceCamps has changed her life forever. Grief is a universal experience – it’s an unfortunate guarantee that we will all go through the pain of losing someone we love. Yet, we don’t educate on it, and we are uncomfortable talking about it. Experience Camps gives grieving kids friends that understand their pain, counseling they need, and adults to rely on. And considering the population of Texas, there is so much need here! We welcomed Andrea and her daughter Lorelei to speak – they are from the Dallas area but Lorelei and her brother had to go to camp in Georgia after the sudden death of their dad. This will be one of many fundraising events that we do to get a camp open here, in Texas, a place where we have found so much love. Lauren’s favorite quote about grief: “what is grief, if not love persevering?”
