Chris Harrison Instagram – We are honored and thrilled to host this year’s @experiencecamps fundraising gala in #NewYorkCity! If you’re new to this organization, #ExperienceCamps is a nonprofit that puts on summer camps for kids who have lost a parent, primary caregiver or sibling. At camp, children are given a week to bond with other kids who understand what they’re going through; and to rely on counselors, most of whom have also experienced loss. Every day, they receive support thanks to volunteer grief specialists. These camps are places of profound healing and joy. All counselors are volunteers; and volunteering at the Maine location last summer changed Lauren’s life forever: this is an organization we want to champion for many years to come, and we hope to help get more locations open nationwide! Right now there are waitlists for kids to participate. If you’re in New York City, tickets are available – come hang with us in May!
