Christopher French Instagram – Ok, hear me out. I was always enchanted by the @fender Jaguar but never really knew why. The curves, the angle, the SWITCHES… it’s just sexy. My old bandmate Fernando had one of these black reflective ones and I was like woah 😳 it’s just so cool and sounds so good! The double humbucker pickups have a really full and rich tone, the short neck is nice and it does what it does so well. So when I saw this one on sale on my birthday in 2010 I knew it was meant to be.
That said, I’ve never remembered what all these switches do 😂 The amount of times I’ve accidentally flipped one in the middle of a show and destroyed my sound irretrievably makes this one a non-performance item for me LOL. But I thoroughly enjoy recording with it, I get a lot of inspiration from the vibe, and that tone is just so unique and characteristic!
