Colin Donnell Instagram – I had the pleasure of returning to the @cf_foundation @americanair #celebrityski last weekend for the second time and, if possible, it was just as special as the last. In the nearly 40 years of this one event, tens of millions of dollars have been raised that have poured directly into research that has directly impacted the life-expectancy and quality of life for those living with Cystic Fibrosis. In fact, when this event began the life-expectancy for someone living with CF was 18 at best. Now, thanks to the work of the CF Foundation and the generosity of its donors, the advancements that have been funded by events like this one has pushed that number well into the 50’s.
What is abundantly clear, though, is that the work is not over by any means. It will not be over until CF stands for Cure Found.
