I was a 6th grade kid who loved to play basketball as an escape from so much going on in my life and you became the father figure I so desperately needed at the time.
A lot of kids wanted to be like MJ or Kobe but I wanted to be like you… thank you for loving me unconditionally and always being there. My heart is broken knowing you’re not here but I’m so grateful for the times we had.
