i’ve only experienced antisemitism a handful of times in life but the internet, where people wear masks, has been festering with comments like this. these are people’s true feelings, this is where they show their true selves.
when I see comments like this, history has told me to believe them.
it is a scary time in the world and usually when that is the case, prejudice – antisemitism being a prime example – goes up. we return to our tribal roots. let’s move forward instead, not back.
for any jews reading this, who may have experienced antisemitism online, I encourage you to post the message you received. spread awareness. show others this is a problem.
