I LOVE TRAVELLING BY TRAIN, but we’ve GOT to make train travel cheaper if we want more people to use trains and reduce car use. Travelling by car is so much cheaper than travelling by train, particularly over long distances where train prices are just absolutely insane! Brexit is the gift that just keeps on giving! I love it! It’s great that we can only spend a maximum of 90 days visiting EU countries because it makes those days, where we are allowed to visit, feel even more precious! Just imagine if we could travel to EU countries whenever we liked and for as long as we liked….it just wouldn’t be the same would it? You can have too much of a good thing sometimes. ‘Less is more’ and all that. The 90 day rule also stops our kids from having silly ideas like living and working abroad and having new life experiences. It’s much better to keep our young adults in the UK and have them working on zero hour contracts and limit their ability to experience EU countries. I love Brexit me. Now we have all had the wonderful pleasure of experiencing all of the amazing benefits of Brexit (there are simply too many to mention!!!) we need to be very, very honest with ourselves and admit that maybe 1 or 2 things didn’t quite turn out to be as good as we’d expected. So, to be fair, reasonable and democratic I’m very much looking forward to a ‘BRETURN’ referendum around say 2026/27 to find out if everyone really loves Brexit as much as the government keeps telling us we do. Do we want to stay as we are? Or do we want to return to the EU? It might just be worth rechecking don’t you think? No harm in that surely…… #BRETURN #BreturnReferendum #Brexit
I’m just staggered that this came into force last week and hardly anyone (especially none of the political parties) are talking about it! Food is going to become even more expensive than it is already and supplies of certain products may become more difficult to get hold of. And if people say “buy local instead” (which I do as much as I can!) it’s worth noting that the UK cannot provide enough food to support its own population. We need to import certain goods. These post-brexit checks are going to be devastating for small business in the UK! Another complete BREXIT S**T SHOW! Let’s have a BRETURN referendum because I still can’t see one single benefit of Brexit!
