Jack Aitken Instagram – P2 ultimately at the Long Beach GP, a great haul of points and fantastic to have a Caddy 1-2, but the win always seemed so close! Pipo led us through the first stint faultlessly, but during the pitstop phase some traffic and the #01 car not taking tyres meant they jumped us. From that point on I tried to shadow them and look for any mistake through traffic, and although I came close a couple of times, they drove a great race in the end and took the win.
I’ve really enjoyed my first street track in the GTP class, and was glad to find a clean line through the chaos at times (see last picture 😂). We head to Laguna now for some testing before flying home.
