Jazmin Bean Instagram – Black dress is a very special song to me ; it’s a love letter to all the amazing people we have lost through addiction and all the amazing people and loved ones who are still struggling , I’ve always heard “always keep a black dress you never know when you’ll need it “ when in talks in recovery groups , it always broke my heart that phrase but it is so sorely true , to the Whitney’s and the Amy’s to my friends I’ve personally lost or seen turn blue in front of me , to the me I almost lost I wanted to express how un alone you are in ur struggle and I always feel so heavily touched when you guys express my music helped you get to the next place you needed to be ; life in addiction of any kind is such a bottomless pit of an existence , I wrote thing song after I had left treatment in an extreme overwhelm of shock towards looking back at the world I had been so submerged in and seeing a burning city and just wishing I could take everyone out of it , if ur alive ur lucky to the people that are no longer with us I love you 💗 | Posted on 30/Apr/2024 23:35:11
