Jimmi Simpson Instagram – We finished filming The Starling Girl 10 months ago then @laurelparm, @karadurrett & #SamLevy cut it together in time for #Sundance where @bleeckerstfilms snapped it up… it’s now in theaters! When you start a film with a tiny budget you know you won’t get the luxury of time and resources. But what you know you will get is a group of humans creating together simply because they care. A lot. I didn’t know a single one of these people before a year ago and they’re all now essential friends of mine. The Starling Girl is gorgeous & undeniably moving. The sort of film that drew me to this craft in the first place. I’ll never not be stunned by the caliber of work from our director @laurelparm & our Starling girl @elizascanlen.
