Today marks one year since my spinal fusion surgery. I cannot believe how fast time has gone, and to look at the pictures and see how I am doing now, is amazing! It was definitely a hard time, not just for me, but also my family. But seeing the X-rays and the shape of my back (and the therapy dogs that came to visit 🐶) really helped get me get through it. Wow! Being 14 is officially over! 15 today! Where to begin with 14… it has been the most surreal and incredible year of my life. Started 14 with a life changing spinal operation, which was of course tough and a huge challenge. I had to learn to take steps again, and adapt to the new shape of my body. But it was so worth it. Today, I am feeling better than ever! 14 was also the year of the (and I still cannot believe I am typing this) BAFTA win for ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’ which was such an honour to receive, which has led to so many other amazing opportunities, which you can see in the pictures. Thank you for everything 14! 🥳 Roll on 15…

I had a message a couple of days ago, from my former form tutor who used to work at my school. She told me she was planning on running a half marathon, and wanted to run in aid of a charity that was close to me. I was over the moon that she had thought about running for something important to me: it meant a lot! I told her that Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital was a charity that meant a lot to me, due to looking after me when I was a baby, and recently with my spinal fusion surgery. I have put a link in my bio, to the JustGiving page and if you could give anything to help my amazing former form tutor hit her goal, that would mean a lot! Thank you!
