Luke Gulbranson Instagram – Lifting the floor 1/4-1/8 of an inch and setting 2×6’s to strengthen the floor. The house was sitting on earth and didn’t have proper floor joists. Now that it’s on a solid foundation I had to beef up the floor and get rid of floor squish. Also, had a ceiling that wasn’t level so we used string to find our gaps and make it level so when the ceiling goes up we are moving and grooving. Once 2×6’s were set we lowered the floor and it tightened to the bottom of existing floor and rid it of any squish. #renovation #lakehouse #myoldhouse | Posted on 07/Sep/2023 19:43:07
