💭 Contemplating a personal challenge, Matty reflects, “But when that happened [his mini stroke in 2021], I was reminded that life is short and that my mission of making others laugh had even more profound meaning to me. Knowing that others struggle, I felt compelled to help them navigate difficult times.” He continues, “So after two months of healing, I returned to work, published a poetry book, and steadfastly pursued my mission as an actor—to spread joy. I like to envision myself as an angel of joy.”
