I got back on the app to hundreds of of you saying congratulations and I realized our senses of humor may not always translate well over these tiny little screens in our hands.
The original caption (above) was meant to be facetious. These pics were taken at an event to celebrate @People 50th anniversary and the close relationship @nbc and @universaltv have with the iconic magazine.

I thought that was pretty obvious but not so obvious from a small screen coupled with multi-tasking-scrolling, I could see how the humor got lost. I am so sorry if I got your hopes up!
However, the pure unadulterated excitement and support you all showed in the comments is inspiring and lets me know how deeply you appreciate the thought of me being recognized and that is better than any cover.
Perhaps this entire thing is some sort of auspicious foreshadowing @people and me on one of your future covers is in the cards after all, I mean, look the #People have spoken. 😆
