Michael Palin Instagram – Summer’s over and if I want to keep warm I have to imagine I’m back in Iraq. The last of my adventures in that hot and fascinating land is just about put to bed and the series of three will be launching on @channel5_tv on Tuesday September 20.
I’ve never experienced anywhere quite like Iraq. The long war has been over for such a short time that there is still fear and tension in the air, but some inspiring moments and happy surprises as well.
