Our family had a very serendipitous string of events that lead us to our new home in Laguna. Let’s just say, all the doors opened and the stars aligned 💫, but not without strong negotiation skills and a lot of gut instinct. Almost everyone thought we were crazy for leaving our newly remodeled home in Dana Point for a 97 yr old beach cottage, but Mike and I knew without a doubt that this was the right move for our family. I was able to negotiate our purchase property for $245,000 under asking, while simultaneously selling our home in DP for $165,000 over asking. We closed on both properties and moved from 2900 sq ft to 1000 sq ft in just a few short weeks. Talk about a whirlwind February!
