Today is a day to honor the beauty and magic around us that we call nature. It is always a grounding day and a chance to reconnect, I’m sure all of us had meaningful moments in our childhood digging for worms, feeding ducks or pigeons, or climbing a tree. Little fond memories that shaped our relationship with this home we call Earth.
Today I’m lucky enough to see the monkeys and orchid bees and vipers in places like Costa Rica that make this world so so special and full of mystery. But, you don’t have to go far to renew your relationship with nature, which I’ve always believed helps shape our planet’s future.
Because it is also a humbling day— we have so much work to do to preserve and protect this Earth for future generations. For those with a yard wondering what do to, my advice is always to go to your local nursery and track down native plants that can help your local ecosystem thrive. Fewer grass yards, more wild yards adds up in an incredible way. For those wanting to travel?
