Pierre Abena Instagram – Returning to Cameroon, Africa was such an unbelievable experience for me! First and foremost, I am so happy to have been able to see my father and my family in good spirits. Since the paternal side of my family is all in Cameroon, it was wonderful to finally spend a little time together again. The way I was received by the people upon my arrival in Cameroon also felt very much like a family welcoming me home—it was warm, excited, and very loving. It was an honor to spend time with my fellow Cameroonians during the press conferences, interviews, and meet-and-greet that were organized for the week I was visiting. I am very proud to be from Cameroon and my goal will always be to use any influence I can to shine light on the country, what it has to offer, and the talented, hard working people who live there. I want to say a special thank you to @bounshotels for hosting me in the amazing penthouse suite for the week, and to all the media outlets, videographers, photographers who covered the events of the week. I also want to thank each and every person who came to meet me—I know some of you had to travel far distances and you even showed up early. I hope for the short time we had together, you could feel the love I have for all of you. I look forward to seeing you all very soon again, with news of exciting events and opportunities for my brothers and sisters in Cameroon!!
