These are not in any particular order but I believe the following skills to be the top qualities of a leader and a well rounded person:
💡Emotional Intelligence – If you do not become the master of your emotions, you will waste so much energy. Learn to control what you can control, and let the rest go. It will save you an incredible amount of stress.
💡Authenticity – always be true to yourself, no matter who it disappoints or upsets. Don’t be afraid to say NO to things that don’t align with your true self. If you pretend to be someone you are not, eventually the real you will come to the surface and you will delay your destiny in life.
💡Calculated Risks – Playing it safe rarely gets you ahead in life. Risks that are calculated are risks that you can survive. It’s okay to take a risk and fail because failing is learning, but always make sure you have other options too.
💡Financial Literacy – If you cannot manage $100, you will never be able to manage $1000. Take control of your finances, be organized with your money, find ways to make your money stretch, and even if you own the business, always act like you want a discount.
💡Healthy Lifestyle – the price you will pay later in life for not being healthy is death. It’s simple. There is no excuse in 2024 not to take care of yourself, be mindful of what you eat, avoid substances that are harmful, and make the time to exercise.
