Benoit Blanc returns in his most dangerous case yet.
The next Benoit Blanc mystery, the follow up to Glass Onion and Knives Out, is called Wake Up Dead Man. We’re about to go into production on it and I AM SLIGHTLY EXCITED
Jamie Christopher was one of the best ADs around, and a good friend. What made Jamie so special was the love he had for the process and history of making movies, but even more than that, it was his love of his crew. A great AD controls a set not by shouting through a bullhorn but by earning a crew’s love and respect. Jamie was one of the all time greats. We’ve lost him too soon.

This summer we lost a member of our movie family, the great Dale Myrand. Dale was our camera operator starting on Looper, all the way up to Poker Face. Actors loved him – the relationship between a camera operator and an actor doesn’t get talked about much but it’s key, and everyone loved Dale. The camera crew loved him, he led by example, always excited and engaged by every new day of telling stories for a living. Dale used to joke that he was going to call his memoir “parking lots I have eaten in.” It still doesn’t seem real to me that on the next movie I won’t be huddling with him before dawn in a random parking lot with a breakfast burrito, making plans for a cigar at lunch. He was a helluva guy and a helluva filmmaker and I’ll miss making movies with him the rest of my life.

Just desperately needed to post something happy on the grid 😘
Seeing Nora and Lilla Zuckerman our incredible season 1 showrunners win a WGA award for their Poker Face episode “Escape From Shit Mountain” brought me so much joy. Great humans and great writers who deserve every bit of hardware they take home. ♥️♥️
