BEST MUSICAL!!!!!!!! thank you to the outer critics circle, drama desk, and chita rivera awards for the personal recognition. as a little boy who was scared of his sexuality for a long time, I can’t believe I get to tell a beautiful and flawed queer narrative to large audiences in this way. my inner child is healing and doing back flips every night at the St. James. and to do it all with family…what an absolute gift.
