Ryan Alexander Holmes Instagram – to be proud to be asian, to celebrate all the parts of what that means, that’s a powerful thing. i didn’t start leaning into it until 4 years ago, most of my life was shame, fear and non-acceptance based around my asian identity. but not anymore, i realized that all those negatives were not the truth, just manifestations and conjurings of a system not designed for us to succeed unless we come together. those shameful feelings are the past for me, and the past for many many of us, especially with orgs like @goldhouseco highlighting the best, brightest, proudest of us all, so we can see who we truly are and all that we can accomplish. i feel lucky to be born in this era, so i can witness this pride first hand and also do all that’s in my power to propagate it.
