Sachin Sahel Instagram – It’s been a busy start to spring at DPAS with sooooo much growth in scene study and audition classes and soooo many fantastic bookings!
I am happy to announce that a new live class will be starting up at DPAS in June.
For those of you who are wanting to dive deeper into the live audition process this is the class for you!
Sachin Sahel and his 15 years experience training under me will be spearheading this class and I will be sprinkled in throughout the month.
If you want to take your auditions to the next level, breaking down the script and your characters in detail while being really specific and understanding theory and applying it live on-camera then make room for this class on Thursday evenings, beginning in June!

BREAKING DOWN THE AUDITION ON-CAMERA CLASS-intermediate actors (and eager beginners) – Thursday nights (starting June 6th at 6 pm)
Thursday’s 6 pm – 9 pm
Instructor: Sachin Sahel
Class duration 4 weeks.
This class is for late-teens to adults. Intermediate actors (eager beginners are welcome)
and is geared towards actors who want to dive deeper into character development using strategic theory to break down the audition which will launch actors into having stronger on-camera auditions.
• Filming your audition pieces (viewing and playing back your auditions with critiques). • Theory
• Audition-style prepared reads for television and film
• Working on reflexes with cold reads (using history and intent)
• Affecting through the camera lens, not at the camera lens
• Small class size with lots of personal attention and focus
• Learn how to make interesting choices (be specific!)
