Scott Porter Instagram – Really hard to put into words what being under the #Gumball Mask meant to me…even harder now that, after keeping this secret for months, it’s out in the world! It’s so crazy to know people are watching and NOT be able to tell anyone that it’s you!!
It was such an honor, such a joy, and such an incredible journey for me this season on @maskedsingerfox. It was never about winning to me, it was about performing, it was about that unmatchable feeling you can only get up on that stage. It was about finding this part of myself again and being able to share something with those I love. And I felt so supported the whole way by my wife and family, the show, the judges, the amazing #TeamGumball behind the scenes, and all of you that watched!!!
I didn’t want it to end, I wanted to battle as long as I could and sing every single note they would let me sing…and by getting to the finale I did just that!
8 Songs! 2 Smackdowns! 2 Battle Royals!!! 12 performances in 7 episodes…is that a record?…and I loved every second of it.
Thank you everyone! From the bottom of my heart.
And I hope y’all don’t mind…but I’m gonna be posting pics of this thing for some time to come! No way I spent this much time as #GumballMask and kept this a secret for 8 months to just do it in one post.
