Todd Kerns Instagram – 14 years ago TONIGHT was the very first appearance we did together. Only three of the existing members of SMKC are here with brother Bobby Schneck on guitar and @andrewjstockdale from @officialwolfmother I had only become attached very recently before we found ourselves HERE at NBC Studios in Burbank, California on the Tonight Show featuring Jay Leno. Every Cheeky Slash chose to wear a ‘Team Coco’ pin on his guitar strap. Jay Leno had recently taken over the Tonight Show from our homie Conan so this was Slash’s punk rock protest. Team Coco represented Conan’s fans standing up for him. You can see that the camera men are doing everything in their power to not show that pin. Pay close attention. This was very early days. Shortly after Myles would join us and we’d be rehearsing for the world tour that followed. There will be a lot of these memories over the coming days. Now here we are 14 years later. We played Wembley Arena in London last night and are now getting ready to rock Dusseldorf, Germany. Can’t wait. It’s good to look back now and again to see how far you’ve come.
