I’m always surprised people don’t remember Slash cowrote it. He’s in the video. Lenny even calls out “Slash!” before the solo. On the album. On the final recording. Seems pretty frozen in history to me. I saw Lenny play in 1991 supporting the Mama Said album and he rendered the band he was opening for invisible.
