Well, it turns out I was wrong! The Berlin proj surprised me last week as I’ve checked out so many bridges over the last years and never could I find a hard offwidth one. They’d always be possible to stick your feet through the top, or inaccessible from the start/finish or have a big pillar or break in the climbing every 25m. Finding a pure, single rope length, Irish Mega Pitch splitter feels lucky and that’s very motivating!
At the moment, 50-60ft of horizontal @wildcountry_official No.5s feels total max once you factor in gear etc, so the full 200ft is gonna require some cellar time…. Bring it on 😈 | Posted on 03/May/2024 23:20:20
