Goldwyn shared his personal ties with the film, based on screenwriter and longtime friend Tony Spiridakis’ experience with his own son. Starring Robert De Niro, Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne, Vera Farmiga, Rainn Wilson, and Whoopie Goldberg, “Ezra” follows Max (@bobby_cannavale ) and his ex-wife (@fullyrosebyrne) as they decide on a course of action for their son, Ezra, who is 11 years old, brilliant, spirited, and on the autism spectrum. The father and son end up embarking on a cross-country road trip learning more about themselves and each other.
