So great having the family come visit me here on location in Nantucket ❤️ Timing was great to break up the time away from home and for the girls to get a mini vacation during their spring break. I had Monday and Tuesday off and the Sun even came out for them! 🌞 🙌🥰

That’s a Wrap on Major Barbara! Thank you Jay Craven for offering me one of those roles of a lifetime (as challenging as it was rewarding)! Pictured here with my fabulous fictional film family, The Undershafts! All departments rocked it out of the park and off the island (thank you Nantucket for having us). What a joy it was to bring George Bernard Shaw back to life in this alternate reality of 1905 meets 2024!

Sometimes you just get lucky:). Not only were they able to move their schedule around so I could be home with the girls while Sarah was away, and we all got to be together for Rowan’s birthday and Easter… but I even made it to the Ferry in Hyannis (and they were able to get my car on!!) on time! So excited to be filming on Nantucket for the next five weeks (and the girls come for a visit in the middle, during spring break!:) 🎉👍🎊

These mothers my life has been blessed with 🌹🙏❤️ Margaret Harper and Sarah Clarke…There are No words sufficient to describe. I would have posted yesterday, but we were celebrating with the girls and trying to set a good example off the phones 😅. My eternally wise and wise-cracking Mother lives on in me and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her (smile through damp eyes), and thank my lucky stars ✨

Oh I Say! What I saw… was way better through those wacky specks on set than what came through shooting through them:)

In Short Time, Dabney Coleman plays a cop who was wrongly diagnosed with a terminal illness, and can’t collect his insurance for his ex (Teri Garr) unless he’s killed in the line of action . We spent the summer of 1989 in Vancouver dangling off this high rise downtown. Dabney Coleman was awesome. 🌹RIP 💙
#TBT #sidandnancy #bowerysnax #junkie #drugdealer I had done my own makeup for the audition in LA, which was sent to London, but when I showed up on set in NY the director was visibly disappointed “Oh. You’re so Clean. I thought we had miraculously discovered a junkie who could act naturally in front of a camera. Oh well , we incorporated your ad libs into the script, so I couldn’t with clear conscience not go with you now” and walked away. I stayed in makeup and wardrobe the rest of the time. Working with the brilliant cinematographer Roger Deakins was as much of treat as it was working with Gary Oldman on his first film.
What a fantastic night in NYC with @thebillybaldwin and @xanderoriginal , celebrating the incredible work of @salvationarmyus and @bowerymission featured in the “Americans With No Address” Documentary. The @robertcraigfilms team is heading back California next week for the final exclusive showing.
