A.J. Johnson Instagram – Assin Manso, Ghana 🇬🇭. With my Ghanaian brother Kofi, we walk the SAME path of our ancestors, at night, barefoot- moving as they did, to Assin Manso river. This river is where enslaved Africans had their LAST bath before being locked in dungeons for up to 3 months prior to the sail to America. To honor them, we start our new year here…unchaining our minds- learning-praying- releasing-taking our FIRST spiritual cleansing bath in the same river. 🥹☺️🙏🏾 we wash our eyes for clearer sight- our ears for sharper hearing- we wash our hands of all that is NOT working in our grasp and cleanse our feet of any wrong path we walk.
