I’m deeply grateful to #animalmedicalcenternyc #shwarzmanmedicalcenter for their specialists who helped save Monalisa’s life. They have the best doctors for your pet. Beyond a regular vet. Monalisa was misdiagnosed over and over again at various vets. I was directed to #AMC and We finally found the real issue. I’ve been treating this for 6 months now with huge improvement!! Her little lungs were very inflamed and irritated. From coughing so much and her trachea (looking good on an X-ray) was still getting lodged a caught in her throat. Everyone said she had bronchitis. There was really no sign of that. (Previously she was on antibiotics for months and it didn’t help. Steroids only helped for a moment, but not really. I was absolutely beside myself.) Finally in NY they gave her a very intense steroid shot, vitamin shots, and “hycodin”doggie opioid. I was concerned with this, but I must say, it works! And she barely needs it anymore. Everything took time, but after resting and not coughing, she healed! Her inflammation came down and raw honey also helped make her happy and comfy. Now she takes very little amounts of the medicine, sometimes and she is only having occasional mild coughing! I imagined her feeling really good and running around and she is doing exactly that! Or being a princess getting carried around. 🌊🐠🐾
