Today I’m in Albany, NY with @modelallianceny lobbying to pass the #FashionWorkersAct to bring basic protections to young models in the fashion industry, protections that could have prevented the kind of sexual assault I experienced as a model. The Fashion Workers Act is a pro-labor bill that aims to create an environment of transparency and accountability in the fashion industry.

I was sexually assaulted while working in the fashion industry over 15 years ago. The fashion industry is still in desperate need of safety regulations.
