-Bird dog crunch
-spine twist supine 

8-10 reps should have your core on fire, if youโ€™re really strong you can go for 12-15 but remember control is priority number one.

Autumn Calabrese Instagram – Fit over 40, pools side body weight workout ๐Ÿ‘™๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Thereโ€™s a lot of things I do to stay fit at 43, eating healthy, watching my portion sizes, drinking plenty of water, and getting quality sleep.  But thereโ€™s one thing that is my favorite part of my day & routineโ€ฆ. MOVEMENT!

No matter where I am, at home, on a work trip or on vacation, I move my body every day.  Some days itโ€™s heavy weight training, others itโ€™s Pilates or cardio.  Sometimes I just enjoy a nice leisurely walk outside but the point is movement feels good & is good for us.  Body weight exercise are some of the best & most versatile workouts you can do.  So hereโ€™s a short body weight workout to do pool side, at the beach or anywhere else.

I go for higher reps with body weight so 2-3 sets of 20 reps 

-squats 
-alternating reverse lunges
-push ups
-jumping jacks (go for 30-60 seconds at a time)
-flutter kicks
