Autumn Calabrese Instagram – Months away from turning 42, I can honestly say I am the healthiest, strongest I have ever been.  You might see a lean woman that makes it look like it all comes naturally.  What you don’t see are all the scars, trials and tribulations that have been overcome over the years.

• C-section
• hernia
• benign growth on the side of my knee that had to be surgically removed

• sprained hip complex that left me barely able to walk for a month.

•scoliosis

• a freak “injury” as a child that left me hospitalized, unable to walk & left doctors wondering if I would recover.  I did but with no explanation as to why I was in so much pain.

These are just a few of the physical obstacles I’ve had to overcome over the years.  Im sure we all have reasons why it’s hard and why on some days we don’t feel like we can do it.  But all you need is one good reason to keep going.  My “why” has changed over the years but my goal to lead a healthy life hasn’t. 

It’s an honor to have hard work celebrated but honestly it’s about how I feel on the inside that matters most to me.  And I FEEL AMAZING!  This is a journey for life, believe it or not I’m just getting started. 💚
