Bec Rawlings Instagram – Hey everyone that wasn’t able to see the premiere of my film Fight To Live, tickets are now available at Event Cinemas, Australia wide.

It would mean a lot if you could show your support not just for me but for the message that it delivers, this film is especially important to me & i believe it’s something that can help many people out there that are or have experienced domestic violence in their life and it could help prevent it happening to many young ones out there, i know if i had of seen something like this when i was a teenager i may not of found myself in such a horrible relationship that lead to unthinkable abuse.

Anyways i hope you can get out to the cinemas and see it, i promise you it’s isn’t all sad and you will leave feeling inspired, happy and empowered to make a change.

The only reason I would square off with my friend @rowdybec is to give her a hug in extending my congratulations at the Film Documentary Premiere “Fight To Live” which Gala Screening was showcased at @hotagc at the @gcfilmfest . Directed by Greek Australian Film Maker @_tomharamis it has been chosen for presentation at the next Cannes Film Festival. The film captures in what I can describe as a Brutal Truth with a Soft & Passionate Honesty that has you feeling emotional, happy, pumped & inspired of Becs life recounted by Bec herself, her mother & family members from her early childhood to current adulthood along with coaches, trainers & friends who give an insite into the complex character we all appreciate Bec is.
The inspiring story of Bec Rawlings’ rise from a difficult upbringing to becoming a UFC fighter & bare-knuckle boxing champion while protecting her children from abuse certainly discusses confronting issues as @_tomharamis so masterfully shot & presents this film for us all to be taken on a certainly interesting biography of our Local Aussie girl who has successfully made waves internationally whilst still being grounded by her experiences & those around her. Extending by huge congratulations to all those who contributed to this film especially Bec who laid her life all out into the open to definitely inspire others with her story.
The @gcfilmfest in its 22nd year running is a celebration of film & filmmaking hosted in Australia’s most dynamic screen destination, the Gold Coast, from 17-28 April presenting the best of Australian & international cinema along with profiling local & independent films. @hotagc This Documentary does address domestic violence dialogue & lived situations that some viewers may find confronting, it is presented in a way that should pave the way in opening discussion & victims of DV to seek help & protection through family, friends, authorities to stay safe. This Underdog Story of Becs success in the fighting arena & also in life is a must watch.
