Recipe below:
Ingredients:
– 250g @potato_utopia Crunchies (how many depends on the size of waffle maker)
– 180g extra lean beef mince
– 1 slice of burger cheese
– 1/4 cup roughly chopped lettuce
– 4 pickles
– 1 tbsp finely chopped brown onion
– Homemade Big Mac sauce: 1 tbsp mayo, 1/2 tsp mustard, 1 tsp tomato sauce, 1 tbsp pickle jar juice, 1 tsp finely chopped pickles, 1 tsp onion powder
Method:
1. Soften the potato crunchies in the microwave for 2-3 minutes
2. Preheat the waffle maker and add the potato crunchies. Close and cook until crispy (approx. 5 mins)
3. Meanwhile, mix your Big Mac sauce ingredients
4. Roll the mince with salt and pepper into a ball and add to a nonstick pan on high heat. Smash down using a spatula or meat press to create a patty. Flip after 3 minutes and add cheese in the last 2 minutes of cooking
5. Stack your Big Mac crunchy waffle with the Big Mac sauce, brown onion, lettuce, pickles, burger patty and remaining waffle.
