Cait Alexander Instagram – There are no innocent bystanders & today Canada’s very own “justice” system proved that statement ten fold. Today, after 2.5 harrowing years, battling with the system against my ex boyfriend, who was charged EIGHT times for his violent attacks on me, I received a mere “peace” bond for my attempted murder. This means a dangerous criminal is free to roam Leaside and Toronto. This means his child is not safe. This means, once again Canada has adhered to the rights of the criminal not the victim. Prosecution wanted me to go away quietly; they wanted me to speak over zoom from LA. I told them: don’t bet against me and I’ll see you in court. 25 friends & family showed up. Here we are.
