This year I’m going to be joining @marianavilamodel and previous recipient and friend @amanda_booth in receiving the Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy award. I’m deeply honored and also only at the beginning of my journey of advocacy and allyship with the disability community. If you want to join me on this learning curve I’d love for you to come out and support Down syndrome research (which is waaaay underfunded by the medical establishment).
